I'm so glad you're here! My name is Cori, and I am passionate about flowers, great design, and celebrating life’s most important moments. I believe deeply in the power and beauty of marriage and find it a great honor to get to work with clients in such a personal and heartfelt season of their lives.
I am a romantic by nature and am easily swept away by epic love stories or a good romantic comedy. I am a salsa enthusiast and think the key to a great recipe includes texture, temperature and ratio of cilantro. I believe in building an intentional, purposeful life. I am a true book nerd and love meeting friends who share this passion of mine. Community and relationships are important to me. I believe my greatest influence is at home and strive to make my home a place of comfort, joy, and grace for myself and my family. I have gone to church since I was a baby and love the rhythm of grace this brings to my life.
My design style is timeless and elegant, and I feel flowers look their best when not over manipulated and instead allowed to move in the way they were intended. I strive for texture, fullness, and movement in all my designs and celebrate each arrangement being unique and beautiful in its own way. I prefer wedding design that is sophisticated, graceful and timeless to an overly trendy approach. I am always learning and growing as a florist and designer and love the thrill of a working with a complex color palette, designing an elaborate onsite installation, or weaving in a new and unique texture to my designs.
In addition to being a creative entrepreneur, I am a wife to an amazing husband (if you meet him, you will agree to this) and mother to three beautiful children. These are my people and I love the little life we have created together. Our best days are spent enjoying the simple delights of life: a morning walk down our country road, an afternoon at the park, an evening fire-pitting with friends, and extended bedtime stories.
Flowers still thrill my heart. My mind is blown when I encounter a field full of wildflowers. And I cannot resist cutting from lilac bushes in the spring and bringing these beauties in to grace my kitchen table. I still get butterflies when I pick up flower orders for my weddings. My mother inspired this love of beauty in me, and I have happily passed it on to my daughter, who halts everything to examine a tiny flower along her way. I am amazed at the intricacy of flowers and there is so much to learn about them that I know I will never stop learning. Their beauty inspires me and speaks to me of the creativity, fullness, and beauty of their Creator.
“Every created beauty was created by God to lead our affections toward Him.”
-Tim Keller
I am a beauty-seeker. I find beauty in a lakeside mountain scene. I find it in the colors of a new dawn. I find it in a marriage that has stood the test of time and remains faithful and true. If you are looking for it, you’ll find beauty too. The thing about finding and creating beauty is that it is not a shallow endeavor. Beauty was created to reflect to the One who created it. I deeply believe my purpose in life is to create and inspire beauty and I know my impact will only be as significant as it glorifies the God who is truly beautiful.
